Pep being a collie loves long walks and playing with her ball so she was a good choice to have a go at the retrieve. She also enjoys running the agility course. She is one of our more experienced dogs and can turn her paws to most of the other tricks we perform.
Belle and her junior handler joined our team, shortly after passing their foundation course. They already well on the way to becoming the stars of the team!
Zac is a bouncy, lively, young dog who loves agility, he is especially quick through the weave!
Luca is our super springy boy, he absolutely love jumping! He is a good all rounder too and can turn his paws to most things.
Fliss is a lively girl who loves to fly round the agility course. She can do lots of tricks too, for a treat of course!
Herbie is a rescue dog, he is a cheeky boy who enjoys his agility.
Blue is a whippet who joined us in September 2018 after having a go at the RSPCA show
Darcie is a working Cocker Spaniel. She has been doing agility for 8 years. Her favourites are the see- saw and the dog walk, she also loves to retrieve. She is a very sociable dog, she enjoys long walks and runs off lead and learning tricks
Paris is a beautiful, friendly Sprocker. She was adopted on 21 December 2018 at the age of 20 month by her handler Gillian. She enjoys agility although was a bit wary of the seesaw and high platform at first. She is very fast round the course and eager to please for a few treats.
Milo is a timid but friendly boy. He didn't have the best start in life and was handed in to the RSPCA when he was nearly one as his family didn't have time to give him the attention he needed. After 18 months training he gained enough confidence to take part in displays, although new sights and sounds do worry him sometimes. Like all collies he likes to be occupied and is an obedient boy unless something scares him or he see his favourite thing in all the world... a ball!
Meet Milo, a very friendly and lovely addition for me and my other agility dog, Gizmo. From the age of 12 weeks, Milo had to sit and just watch all the dogs doing agility. He flies round the around the course himself now. Watch this little boy go!!
Bertie joined the display team 3 years ago, he enjoys taking part in shows, especially when a tennis ball is involved.
Toby is a Springer x Cocker Spaniel who has been doing agility since he was 12 months old. We were told by the vet that he probably wouldn't see his 2nd birthday, but he does like to be stubborn. His favourite things are strokes, fire hoops, camel poo and any trick that can be done at full speed.
Bess is a working collie who loves her agility. She also likes to retrieve a tennis ball making her an ideal candidate for our retrieve race!
Remus is an Alaskan Husky x Collie who was rescued by his current owner from the RSPCA Hereford in 2014. A very intelligent and affectionate dog with a passion for wildlife and chasing cats. Any challenge is never too big and he loves to swim, climb, play football and fetch. He has worked hard to achieve the silver tricks award and to do his best with the Tricks4Treats agility display team.
Ben is a tri-coloured Collie who works for a living. His hobbies are chasing sheep, eating sheep and cheeese! He is KC Gold standard tho' you wouldn't think so sometimes. Ben came to agility for some 1:1 time with his human as he was too sensitive for a working dog, also to socialize as 9 other dogs at home didn't cut it!
Fynn is a 10 year old collie. He is a rescue dog from Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary where he was taken after being found wandering at about 10 weeks old. Fynn loves his agility but is a bit of a loner and would rather play with a ball than with other dogs.
Meet Gizmo, scared of his own back leg, yet manages to run an agility course like a hero, and just loves to take part in shows. Gizmo is a 13 year old lurcher x terrier. He was a rescue puppy who has gone on to gain a Platinum Obedience award and just loves to do agility, his owner is rightly very proud of him!
Sadly we had to say goodbye to Saffy in November 2020. Saffy was a bouncy rescue girl from Leeds Dogs Trust. She jumped out of the 'secure compound' there, so agility seemed a good way to channel her energy. She retired from agility after 8 years in the team but still loved to do her tricks as long as a tasty treat was involved! She was about 12years old She liked travelling in the car, and pottering round the garden - on a treat hunt!
Sadly we had to say good bye to Delta in August 2018, she was the last of the founder members of the display team. She was a very shy dog when it came to people, but you wouldn't think that when you watched her perform! Her best trick was being able to break 3 paper hoops in a row! She will be sadly missed by us all.
Tia was a founder member of the display team. Sadly we had to say goodbye to her in September 2017. A gentle, graceful girl, she will be missed by all the team R.I.P Tia.
Very sadly we had to say goodbye to Lucy in September 2014. She was our most versatile, most reliable dog and we all miss her so much, R.I.P. super star.
Sadly we had to say goodbye to Lily one of our founder members in October 2018. She was a good all rounder and was sadly missed when she had to retire due to problems with her eyes.
